Sacred Heart University Choirs - Christmas Vespers and Wreath Lighting

Sharing their musical talents with the university and community are five choral ensembles from Sacred Heart University led by John Michniewicz and Galen Tate. Performances on campus are either at the Chapel of the Holy Spirit or the Performing Arts Center.

4-Heart Harmony Chamber Choir is a small auditioned ensemble that features fun rhythms and tight harmonies! The repertoire includes a capella, jazz, pop, show tunes, multicultural and classical choral repertoire. 4-Heart Harmony can be heard on and off campus, including the annual Pipescreams concerts.

SHU L.O.V.E. (Ladies Only Vocal Ensemble) sings a capella, popular and upbeat works for SSA women’s choral ensemble. Members are experienced choral singers and like 4-Heart Harmony, can be heard on and off campus, including the annual Pipescreams concerts.

Concert Choir is the large choir ensemble that focuses on interesting and exciting music from a number of musical styles and periods and produces a warm, cohesive and blended sound.

Liturgical Choir is a group of committed singers and instrumentalists who provide music for the Sunday 7PM liturgy and join in seasonal concerts with the other choral ensembles.

The Pioneer Choir is a chamber ensemble that sings music featuring many styles and periods, including contemporary, pop, a capella, Broadway, jazz, classical and contemporary repertoire.
