Invigorate Your Church Choir (and You)

It is all too easy, whether we have been in a particular position for two years or twenty, to focus only on preparing that Sunday’s anthem, remaining content with the preexisting skills and knowledge our volunteer choristers bring to us. But if we do, our choir will never grow, and we will grow stale and perhaps burn out.

Whether you’ve never learned how to build your choir’s musicianship and vocal technique in a systematic manner, or could use a refresher, you will leave with a variety of pedagogical tips, tricks, ideas, and perspectives to enliven your rehearsals and, thus, your worship.

Suggestions for accessible, quality repertoire will also be shared.

Join us at First Presbyterian Church of Fairfield - 10:00 AM - noon, 2475 Easton Turnpike, Fairfield, CT 06825.

Open to all AGO members and area choir directors.
