Pipescreams 2013 - Rocky Horror - University of Bridgeport Chamber and University Singers, 12th Annual Pipescreams Halloween Concert, United Congregational Church, Bridgeport
Sunday, September 14, 2014, 2:30 PM Board Meeting at 2:30, 4:00 PM Potluck Picnic - Meg Williams' home, 875 East Broadway, Stratford. Let's kick off the year with a wonderful social event. RSVP with food item you are bringing.
Sunday, October 19, 2014, 4:00 PM – 13th Annual Pipescreams Concert - United Congregational Church, Bridgeport, John Michniewicz/Frank Martignetti, hosts – reception. Costumes encouraged. Prizes for best costumes. Annual Halloween musical extravaganza this year with 150+ singers in 5 choral groups. 4-Heart Harmony and SHU LOVE (Ladies Only Vocal Ensemble both from the Sacred Heart University; the University Singers and Chamber Singers, both from the University of Bridgeport, and the Norma Pfriem Children's Choir. Musicians include Dr. John Michniewicz, Galen Tate, David Harris, Frank Martignetti, Dr. Joe Utterback, Dr. Aymeric Dupre la Tour, Frank Zilinyi.
Sunday, January 4, 2014, 5:00 PM – Epiphany Party – Home of Sandy Zera, 85 Fieldpoint Road, Fairfield; snow date Sunday, January 11, 2014. Executive Board Meeting at 3:30 PM. Annual favorite to toast in the new year and perform for each other.
Monday, January 19, 2015 or Monday, February 16, 2015 (date to be confirmed) – Organ Crawl, Our Saviour’s Lutheran, Fairfield – bring your music and perform on the newly installed 11-rank tracker pipe organ. Dr. Alice Caldwell – host
Dinner/Concert – Wednesday, July 1, 2015 5:00 PM, Restaurant TBD - Final evening of the New Haven Regional Conference and 7:30 PM Concert with Thomas Murray, Woolsey Hall, June 28-July 1, 2015 – the chapter will host all members to dinner (free of charge) preceding an evening concert by the incredible Thomas Murray at the great Newberry Memorial Pipe Organ at Woolsey Hall. This will be an exceptional evening to meet fellow AGO members from throughout the New England region. No money required.
